I am unable to make purchases on xbox live

Okay so, i'm sure there is a simple fix to this that i'm not seeing. I went on the xbox one store to upgrade my 360 digital version of cod aw to the xbox one version, and was unable to. A message appeared telling me that my privacy and online safety settings
wouldn't allow me to make purchases. So, I went and checked. my "Buy and Download" option is set to "Anything" therefore, I should be able to make purchases. I checked to see if my purchase/download privileges had been suspended, and they had not. Also, i'm
over the age of 18, and have no parent account to limit what I can do with my account.

So..... needless to say i'm at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi i keep getting this error message Your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com. Please complete this transaction from your Xbox. and on my Xbox it says i am unable to make this type of purchase and then crashes when i try and purchase

How do you check your purchase and download privileges to see if they are suspended or not?

 

You can check to see if your account is suspended from purchases at commerce.microsoft.com or you can call phone support at 1-800-469-9269 if you live in North America

 

does anyone know how to use a promo code on xbox one?
