I am unable to buy two preview games from both the console and and website

What games are you attempting to purchase? Are you still experiencing purchasing issues? There was a Service Alert that affected Store purchases yesterday but that should be resolved at this point.

Both on the console and the website I am unable to purchase using the account money.

I am not going to buy in to any console review scores for either Xbox One or PS4. Two consoles at the start of their generation, roll on a year and both will have changed im sure.

Even if I was to buy into these scores it would not be from Polygon anyway.

I just tried to purchase the points on the website, and no I am unable to do that. What is going on? Why am I unable to buy points at all now?

This is one of the known issues with the current preview build. Check this thread for more information - you may need to be logged in with the account in the preview program to see it. forums.xbox.com/.../2170244.aspx

"Certain content (games, apps, DLC) purchased in the new Store may only be available on consoles enrolled in the latest Preview update. This means…

• Games purchased on a console running the latest Preview update can only be played on that console or other consoles running the latest Preview update.

• Games purchased via Xbox.com can be played on any console.

• Games purchased on a console running the previous update can be played on any console."

So, for the mean time if your fiance wants to buy games, have him buy them through the website or the non-preview console so that it can be used on both consoles.
