I am Trying to refund Call of Duty Cold War because it just shuts down the xbox

What Xbox are you using?

If it is the Xbox series X then make sure you have that version of the game installed.

COD Cold War is thermo-throttling the console and the work around until they release a patch is to turn off ray tracing, motion blur and reduce field of view to 75 or lower. I know it sucks but the game runs a little more stable and you don't want to brick
your console. This game is a glitchy mess and they really should have released it when it was ready instead of pushing it out the door and just fix it later via patches.

So This was starting to happen Recently but everytime I boot up Call of Duty Cold War it goes fine but then minutes later my xbox freazes then it shuts off on its own like **** how am I supposed to play a game if it just shutting off the console in the first
place.

I tried Refunding it ounce and it got denied reason being I played the game too much which is honestly a stupid reason to reject a refund are there any xbox ambasadors that can help me with this issue because I want a refund I dont want to keep a game that
unplayed let alone $60.00 Wasted.

The Game wasn't bought with this account it was bought with a diffrent account but the refund was still rejected I forgot to add that detail

I am having the same problem on Call of Duty Cold War Multi Player. My Series X console will shut down in the middle of game play. The controller remains on. Microsoft please help?

If the game is Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War or Assassin's Creed Valhalla, then the developers of the games are aware of the issue in regard to console shut down. They are working on a fix.
