I am trying to play minecraft with my daughters. I play on PC and they have nintendo switch.

SO far i got one switch to connect to microsoft, that switch i cant figure out how to add me to friendslist, I am on PC.

the 2nd switch i cant connect it to microsoft.

I'm note sure why this isn't working on one account and not the others.

Try this... In Minecraft, go to settings, profile and press clear account sign in data. Then close Minecraft, open it back up again and try to login.

Im the adult, not Microsoft. I am quite capable in monitoring what they are doing on switch or tablets. The good ol' days. Just install and play with friends, are gone apparently.

So in order to get the one switch to connect is; settings, clear account, connect for free.

Then did the link code.

Went back on switch, connected to Microsoft account <bottom left>

(i dont have switch in front of me, going off memory. Bear with me if i dont use the exact words the switch ueses)

Ive tried the same thing on the other switch and it worked.

I may try making another account. This doesnt have to be so difficult. Fortnite you just install and play with your friends...I just want to be able to play with my kids...

I got 3 versions on the game. The windows 10 version, I cant add friends. Says go to a website and change privacy settings. (I dont see where this should be a thing, ive had this account since i was 14, am 32 now)

2nd switch, account, when i try to sign into Microsoft account, gives me code, i go to website type in code, website says "all done". On switch i try to sign into Microsoft again. Gives me code again. This is endless loop.

3r switch account isnt able to add friends. Just like my account. The 3rd switch IS connected to Microsoft.

I know there are a few extra steps you have to do to play online with an Xbox live account, but it's Microsoft way of making sure you and your family can play online safely and securely.

I'm sure you will get this sorted. I don't have a Switch, but after looking this up, some have had success by accepting the code using a PC and not a phone. Also, try signing in using the settings menu and not at start-up. Not sure why, but both worth a
try.
