I just want to confirm, are you trying to recover a Microsoft account due to you losing access to it in order to play Minecraft?

then you will need to find that email and account as you can only link one account to MC and you cannot link another.

My gamertag (shakyb0nes#4600) is not the same as my username (ghostingaroundx). I'm almost 100% certain that I used the right email, as I only have one other Microsoft account and that isn't linked to my MC account. Also, like I mentioned, I do not have a Mojang account so I'm not using the wrong login,,

I am baffled with this issue. My laptop and other services that have the account saved try to automatically log in using the saved info only for the login to say an account with this username doesn't exist. In order for me to start account recovery I have to be able to login to the said account. I cannot talk to an agent as they do not work with login issues. So far I have had to make a fake account to say there is something wrong with said fake account to work on the real account... I am still "Logged in" on my computer settings using the account. I am unsure how to continue if Microsoft itself seems unwilling to provide an avenue to contact.

I have the exact same problem. The first time I accessed minecraft I tried to link my account and it said it was alrrady been used which doesn't make sense. I try to unlink the account and it said there were some internet problems. The game is buggy and
this has been a horrendous month for ps4 players on mc.
