    I am trying to get my Xbox series X Controller to vibrate on windows 11 while playing games over Bluetooth.

    I have came across this--- Note: Rumble doesn’t work when playing games on a PC while the controller is connected through Bluetooth.

    And why not? If it can vibrate on my Xbox Series X over Bluetooth, then why can it not vibrate on Windows 11 over Bluetooth?

    Is this a bug on Windows 11, incompetence on behalf of Microsoft or a technical issue?

    p.s. It is sad that I have to use a Playstation 5 dualsense controller on Windows 11 with the DSX application, to get vibration working on Microsoft Windows 11 while gaming over Bluetooth.

    The Microsoft Xbox Series X controller should vibrate over Bluetooth on Microsoft Windows 11, natively!

    because Xbox controllers don't use Bluetooth natively,, they run on Wi-Fi direct. If you want to use features beyond basic control, you have to do it using either USB or the wireless adapter. Wi-fi direct has much greater range, much higher bandwidth, and much lower latency than Bluetooth.

    Bluetooth support was added several years later. while I can only speculate, I would imagine that the fact that it was a very late revision which may limit their ability to support features.

    I bought a Xbox wireless adaptor for windows, and the Rumble feature now works on Windows 11.

    Do you think a future Xbox Controller Firmware update could fix this major problem, while gaming on Windows 11, or do I need to buy a Xbox Adapter?

    I currently use an ASUS WIFI/ Bluetooth adapter card in my Gaming PC.

    I am using a PDP Wired Controller designed for Series X, Xbox Onez and Windows 10/11.

    I have not tried cloud gaming with this controller on a different device as I would have no way to connect the controller and device (it is not Bluetooth enabled).

    First time, i managed to get my xbox series x yesterday trough help from a friend so i'm also still verry unfamillier with the software, i'm jumping from a 360 to a series x never having used an xbox one before.

    Yes, i first tried on my elite wireless 2 controller and now i tried on the stock controller from the series x and it seems to happen as well

    My primairy goal was to stream games so i could use my bigger TV schreen
