I am trying to delete 1 specific save from 1 specific game that force saved to cloud...

So I've been playing Final Fantasy 13 and for some god awful reason the save game function is set to save new file by default. Meaning I have about 5 extra saves from random points in the game that are just taking up space. This wouldn't be a problem if the games saved to my hard drive like they used to but Microsoft can't hold my data hostage unless they force it to be saved to the cloud. Anyway how can I delete these extra saves stuck in the cloud without deleting the save I am currently playing on?

    :)

I am trying to delete 1 specific save from 1 specific game that force saved to cloud without erasing all the other saves of that game.

Hi and thanks for reaching Microsoft Xbox gamer's community. My name is Josef.
I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft Xbox user like you.

    Hope you're doing great today

Are you not able to delete manually the saved data in-game?

    Cheers from another user!

Can someone at Microsoft Access specific saves on the cloud?

Unfortunately, no one can bring back a specific save, as they don't keep a history of your previous save games.

However, if the console hasn't synced this corrupted save, try the following:

Go to the game tile, and press the Menu button.

    Choose to manage the game.

Delete the local savegame from your console, and start the game. The console should try to sync the save from the cloud.

If that was successful, and you have an older savestate that works, congratulations.

If that didn't work, and the cloud save is corrupted as well, you will unfortunately have to start over, by deleting the local save as well as from the cloud, by choosing both buttons in the game management screen.

Weird Problem Tried Everything. Minecraft freezes after about 10min of gameplay, the instant I press the home button it unfreezes

Game saves are stored in the cloud, even if you factory reset the console, once you open the gane again the saves will be downloaded from the cloud again, so you need to specifically delete the saves

Step 1 – Press the Xbox button on your controller

Step 2 – Select My games & apps

Step 3 – Select the game for which you want to delete the saved data

Step 4 – Press the Menu button on the controller

    Step 5 – Select Manage game & add-ons

Step 6 – Scroll down to Saved Data

Step 7 – Select the saved data for your gamertag

Step 8 – Press the A button on the controller and three options will pop on the screen:

    Delete from all places

PC Game Pass - Snowrunner - Buying a DLC (Year 1 pass) make me lose my profile and saves

Hello JonasGarbuio, My name is David. I am an independent advisor, happy to help you today.

In some cases, game save files are stored in a specific location on your PC. Check if SnowRunner has a folder of saved files in a specific directory. You can search online for the default location of SnowRunner save files or check the game's documentation for more information. If you find the save files, you can try restoring them to their original location and see if that restores your progress.

Check cloud sync If you're using Xbox Game Pass on PC, your saves may sync to the cloud. Check the sync settings in the Xbox app on your PC to make sure cloud sync is enabled. If so, try forcing a sync and see if your save files are restored.

    Best regards.

Diablo III Eternal Collection for Xbox One X...major OOPS. Can it be fixed? Please say yes, someone.

If you only deleted the local save then the cloud save should be safe, I believe uninstalling the game and then re installing would force the game to try to sync from the cloud which should let you get your save back.

    hope this helps
