    So ive owned Cities: Skylines for i dont know how long. All of a sudden it is now telling me that I need the owner to sign in. Im the only profile that plays that game. Ive done every troubleshooting step to no avail. HELP!!

    well be sure the game was actually bought with the profile you're trying to play with, go to the website, log into your microsoft account and check the buy history, if the game is not there, then the progile you're using is not the right one

    Thank you for reaching Microsoft Xbox Forum support. I want you not to worry about the situation because I am here to help you out!

    According to the explanation you have provided, I believe your console might need either a network reset or just a system refresh. Therefore, you will only need to follow those simple troubleshooting steps that I will provide you with and your issue should be fixed.

    The following troubleshooting step will help you clear out your MAC address:

    Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

    If the issue still persists after going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I highly recommend following these steps here:

    After each step try to see if the issue is fixed!

    First, please select System > Settings > account > remove accounts and then select your account and select Remove to confirm.

    Then, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, until the console shuts off, then unplug the power cord and wait for 2 to 3 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the Xbox.

    If the issue persists, please try to check you games in the order games history in this following website : Microsoft account | Home

    If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps.

    Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.
