I am supposed to have the gold lancer in gears 3

Discus and support I am supposed to have the gold lancer in gears 3 in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So i bought the Gold Lancer off of ebay ( i have the code to prove it) and it works on gears of war 2 but it wont transfer over to gears of war 3 like...     I am supposed to have the gold lancer in gears 3


    So i bought the Gold Lancer off of ebay ( i have the code to prove it) and it works on gears of war 2 but it wont transfer over to gears of war 3 like its supposed to. Thank you for your kindess and i hope for your immediate assistance.

    Am confused what weapons do I get. I had the golden lancer in Gears of war 2. I did not get to level 100 on Gears of war 2. I did get 100 kills with the retro lancer in the beta. I also have my gears of war 3 limited edition pre ordered. So am guessing I
    get the gold lancer, Gold Gnasher and the Gold retro lancer.

    I got mine from having the gold lancer in gears 1 from the dlc code, not sure if the codes still work but if you could find a gears 2 gold lancer code, it should unlock the gears 3 gold lancer

    The golden lancer was part of the Epic Edition of Gears of War 2, and all who had it in Gears of War 2 will have it in Gears of War 3. The second way to obtain the Gold Lancer is to get the "Veteran Gear" Achievement in Gears of War 2.

    Gold Hammerburst

    The Golden Hammerburst was part of a midnight-madness event for Gears of War 2. Also, if you get the Veteran Gear achievement in Gears of War 2 it will unlock the golden skin for all five starter weapons.

    Golden Weapons, originally only those who had gold lancer and hammer burst in Gears 2 were suppose to have them in Gears 3 but they made them available to all who played week 1. Also Golden Retro lancer was for Beta only players who got 100 kills with it
    during the beta, and the first week people got that one as well. They almost did it for the golden gnasher but left it alone for Gears 2 players who got their wings (level 100).
