I am receiving a teredo error on my Xbox one.

Modem brand & model number: Motorola SB6580

Router brand & model number: SMC Wvr14s-n4

Wireless and wired connection

Things you have tried:

DMZ

Portforwarding

Bridged gateway to a router with the help of my ISP but this did not work.

Power cycled router/gateway/console

No options to enable/disbale Ipv6 or teredo tunneling

Firmware up-to-date.

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type? Strict

Nothing else intricate. But I do know my gateway cannot support multiple consoles so I unplugged my xbox 360.

Can connect to Xbox live but can't connect to game servers.

I had the same issue. Is your NAT strict? Run a multiplayer test to see what error your having. I was receiving can't get a teredo up address. Factory reset all settings in my modem and it now works.

So the current network as it should be set up as, is the your Motorola SB6580 is currently bridged and being used as just a modem.

So far you have tried both DMZ and Portforwarding settings in the SMC Wvr14s-n4.

Do I have that right so far?

 

Yep sure have, and still received a teredo error. I have called my internet service provider and xbox support but no cigar.

 

It's rare, but I've seen this work before, factory restoring your Xbox One may remove the Teredo IP address error.

 

Just curious, but how will a teredo error go away with a system restore if it's a networking error? Is there something that may have went wrong with my system update on my xbox?

 

I've seen it in very rare cases, that even after changing to a different network the error persists or after the ports are open, or if you may have DMZ'ed the xbox, or they have a direct wire connection to their modem, and the error still persists. Then
something happened inside the xbox. If you would like, you can try using the OSUDT2 file to try an update your console and fix any sort of issue with a system update. It may or may not work.
