I am on my friggin 4th replacement controller...left stick click break!

Why wont Microsoft own up to this design flaw and make the necessary corrections already? Its been YEARS and still the controllers rolling off the production line TODAY have these cheap faulty plastic clips and if you play NHL or FIFA hard like I do, then
it will surely fail on you. The girl at my local best buy knows me so well she screams my name like I am Norm from Cheers.

If doing a recall on these cheap **** parts is out of the question then for Thor's sake, make the new ones out of quality parts and I will gladly spend $60 buying a controller that wont break in 3 weeks.

Theres 1000's of posts on this subject...where is the action?!?!?!

Xbox one faulty controller (left analogue stick)

I'm on my 4th controller, seriously. I have had my xbox 360 controllers for years, never ever had this much trouble. The left stick breaks off inside, not enough to quit functioning completely, but enough that I can't always run when I want in COD. something
in the left stick breaks off. there is plastic loose in my controllers (I have 2 that have the problem currently)

POS controller

Hey guys,

So I'm on my third controller for Xbox One. I got the Day One edition, and the left thumb stick and right thumb stick broke within about 2 weeks of playing Ryse: Son of Rome and Battlefield 4. Got a second controller, same thing happened to the left thumb stick
and left bumper now. I am on my THIRD controller and the left thumb stick popped out of place and I can't even click it down anymore. I never had an issue with an Xbox 360 controller and so far I've burned through three Xbox One controllers. I've called support
and they haven't helped and I'm sick and tired of spending money on something that will break within 3 weeks. Microsoft, please do something to help me. Thank you

If your current controller is still under warranty, then you can set up a repair here:

Otherwise, for the time being, I suggest going a little easier on the joysticks. Slamming on the joysticks is what causes these clips to break.

@ArfElas 3512 I have been looking into the Elite controller - our controllers keep having the left stick break where it keeps the 'drifting' the curser/arrow/gun or whatever the game uses that stick for.

I was thinking that maybe with that controller I would be able to fix it myself by replacing the stick but I am not sure if the issue is in the stick itself or the mechanism that is controlling the stick.

What is your thought...

The things are too overpriced to risk breaking them! The only thing I've had to replace is a controller because the left stick was starting to track to the left, affecting my gameplay.

^Just don't assign it to the left stick click so I don't have to keep replacing controllers.
