Discus and support I am not receiving game/party invites from people in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; every time one of my friends send me a game/party invite I am not receiving it.     every time one of my friends send me a game/party invite I am not receiving it. Same with messages. My brother is having the same problem. We are on the same Xbox but he has a different profile. My Nat type is open.

    Not receiving messages

    I am not receiving any messages from friends. Notifications such as party invite or game invite show up, but messages will not. I even went into notifications and seen that messages were on.

    I'm sorry to see any issues with notifications! Since your brother is having the same issue on the console, it is likely either a network issue or a console issue. I'd like to rule out the network first to ensure we've got that all aside.

    Can you please post back with your detailed network statistics? You can get this from Settings > All settings > Network > Network settings > Detailed network statistics. We'll be able to determine next best steps from there.

    For a few days I have not been Recieving game or party invites. I know they are being sent as I am in party with the people trying to send them. I am able to send out invites both party and game. I am receiving all other notifications like messages, people

    XBOX Console Companion Party Invites

    This solution doesn't work. I am having the same issues. Before this new windows update I was able to receive party notifications through the companion app. Now I cannot recieve them through the companion app or the game bar. I guess it should be noted
    that you CAN invite people to a party from the companion app and they can join. But for whatever idiotic reason you cant recieve the invite.
