I am not receiving game invites or party invites on my xbox one x

Hi Gridyyy,

The only thing you will need to do is redownload the profiles that were on the console. Home console settings shouldn't be changed from a reset. Reason for the reset, is there may be a corrupt file in OS causing you not to get the notifications.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. When you change settings like notifications on or off, it may take a little bit for it to engage. Since you done the basic troubleshooting, we recommend trying a soft factory reset. When going to reset select
keep my games and apps. Also when you change notifications on again, before you do sign out of the app on your phone change the settings on Xbox, power cycle console then sign in phone. With having one logged in it could be saving the notifications off.

For instance: you change settings on your phone, but still logged in on Xbox. It most likely keeps the settings of them off.

Try this and let us know.

if i do that will it take away the persons home i share with? it seems like a little much to have to reset the xbox just to get the notifications working. really makes no sense that i should have to

Not able to receive game invites or party invites, nor am I able to send them

I can join parties and receive party invites just fine. The problem is the game invites. For example, I was trying to play Call of Duty: Warzone through a Looking For Group post. I join the party but then don't receive the game invite and can't invite
them to my game.
