I am not appearing online for any friends.

Hello,

I am looking for any suggestions that could allow me to appear online on Xbox Live, I have an Xbox One and for the last 2 weeks have not been appearing online to any friends even though my privacy settings and any other setting you can think of are set to
Online.

I also have an Xbox 360 and my privacy setting are all online for that as well so there is no conflict between the two consoles.

I have done everything I can think of to fix this problem to no avail. I would appreciate any knowledge any one may have regarding this, please do not tell my to check my privacy settings, trust me I have.

One specific friend isn't listed online until we join a party together

Hi CamelSlayr,

There are two options in the anyone's profile screen called "Appearing Online or Appearing Offline" or in the privacy setting your friend(the person who is appearing offline) may have blocked people from seeing him online.

and at any time the guy can change these setting so he can appear offline or blocked anyone from seeing him online and vice versa . I suggest you contact him and ask if he has blocked or is appearing offline.

Skype always online

Why does Skype always keep me logged in? I quit the app, and powered down the xbox and I am not logged in on any other device, yet my friend tells me I'm still appearing as online. Is there any way to fix this?

 

Redownload your profile. And see that help. I had WP achievements not showing on my 360. And I deleted and redownloaded it to my system. And it showed up.

 

Hey did you ever find a solution to this problem? because I have been like this since i got my Xbone.... and i am in the same boat.

 

You may please check your privacy settings at settings / dats dataand online security in the left pane on this issue, as there is an item when using customized settings "show my online status" which may prevent you from being displayed as online when set
to "block".
