I am not able to sign in properly to my minecraft account

You see, I am unable to do those steps as I need to sign in to my account on the console properly. Without signing in properly, I am unable to do those steps. I realise that in order to those steps, I need to sign in properly. You should try and re-review

Still no luck with the problem, deleted those files but the other account is still there and did the in-place upgrade but no luck with that. when i try to sign in with the 'other' account it just signs me into my normal account. looks like something is seriously wrong with my account. i don't know if this will help but I'm able to launch the Minecraft launcher from the Xbox app and i can play Minecraft java and Minecraft windows but i am unable to play Minecraft dungeons and legends they get the same error message my other Xbox games get.

Just a friendly reminder though that on PC, the family group is to manage a child's account settings, it's not for game sharing. I would like to clarify, did you purchase the game on your account? If yes, make sure that you're signed in under the correct Microsoft account on the Minecraft launcher.

Sign out and sign back in on the Minecraft launcher.

I purchased the game on my account. My parent consented to the purchase the game. I'm still able to launch only Demo version on Java edition. I signed out/in Minecraft launcher several times and it didn't help.

Have you tried signing in from a different web browser or device? I also suggest trying your browser's incognito mode.
