    I am having trouble with the X1 and X2 buttons on the chatpad failing out; volume control.


    I'm using an Xbox One S and a VIZIO D43-C1 43-Inch 1080p LED TV. Attached to my newer model bluetooth controller, I've programmed my chatpad X1 and X2 buttons to control the volume on my TV. Sometimes it works flawlessly, and then sometimes I can only get
    it to sporadically control the volume. This usually lasts about 10 minutes. After that, it's back to working just fine a few minutes later. During this 10 or so minutes, I usually test the other keys (which always work fine), try to perform an update, turn
    the controller off/on, turn the Xbox One S off/on, turn the TV off/on, and even assign and re-assign the keys. None of this ever seems to help, correction with the issue just comes with waiting.

    An update specifically targeting this issue would be much appreciated.

    Hey so I can't figure out how to set the shortcut buttons (x1 and x2) on the chatpad. Any help will be appreciated i tried the instructions that came with it but they are vague and nondetailed.

    What do you like the most about your Xbox One?

    I love the controller, the dashboard and the game clip recording.

    I also like the X1 and X2 button on the chatpad which makes recording super fast

    Chat Pad Please!!!!!!!!!!!!

    As much as I am an advocate for a chatpad on the X1, I have come to find Smartglass on my phone infinitely useful. From messaging to launching apps to controlling the volume on my receiver. It's been a great tool for me so far.

    This is completely normal as the chatpad(headset stereo adapter) has the volume control and the chat mixer control as well as the mute buttons

    I'm in the same boat. I saw that the button X1 is pre-programmed to take a screenshot and X2 is pre-set for a 30s game clip. But I also can't find anywhere how to reassign these buttons. Anyone out there?
