I am having trouble with Mahjong, the tiles freeze, the timer keeps going can anyone help

I am having the same problem. Mahjong is up-to-date on my Surface Pro, and I can't find "show available tiles" anywhere.

Can any one tell me why Mahjong is loading and has done it all day. Everytime I go on it, it has the little tile circling and underneath says loading. That's all its doing. Help! What do I do?

Open window to Mahjong in Windows 8, then go to charms to see "show available tiles" in game options.

I have the digital copy and the game keeps freezing when the mission count down timer reaches 1 or 0 and then I cant do anything with the game.
