I am having trouble updating my Xbox one

Have you tried resetting your console to factory defaults?

It will be a pain in the butt to set everything up again, but if there was some kind of corrupted update or issue with it, starting fresh can be a good place to start.

Pending Credits require one deposit cycle to process. A general rule of thumb is Credits pending on the 1st through 15th will be deposited in the end of month deposit. Credits pending on the 16th through the 31st will be deposited in the mid-month deposit
the following month. Since your Credit event happened on April 17th, it will be a part of the mid-May deposit.

I'm having the same trouble with Tacoma on my Xbox One S... stuck on the Press A to start. This is after two hard resets and logging in and out of Xbox Live. I am on a preview build but not sure which one (system is fully updated).

Power Cycle the console first, if you are still having trouble check for updates, i am an insider and my xbox is currently doing an update. if you are still having trouble you could head on over to their reddit page -> Xbox

Dear Xbox One, your software "update" really *** things up. I didn't have any problems with tv viewing until downloading the "update", but now I am experiencing the exact same troubles as everyone in this post. Way to destroy the user experience by not testing
out your "update" thoroughly enough.

Thanks to your update the Xbox On feature will NO LONGER turn on my TV and after I turn on my TV I am usually met with a black screen that requires me to reboot my xbox or turn-off the instant on feature.
