I am having this wierd power issue with my xbox one

How can I explain this my xbox one has started to do this very strange thing and how can I explain what its doing it well I play on my xbox one for a little while then all of a sudden I get this as if like something in the house has blown electrical I mean
everything turns back on bar xbox one when I try to turn it on nothing not even the lighty on the power bnrick is showing I have to unplug the power brick it and plug it back in to turn my xbox one back on if you know what I mean It has done it twice has anybody
else had this and did you get it sorted and find out what it was that was causing it.

I have the same problem Mochamoo, the wierd thing is, the people i play with don't seem to be having the this issue.

 

Xbox one issuses involving but not limited to ESO and the concole not doing any concole actions like navigating the home scredn like a computer thats out of RAM.

I'm having an issue with my Xbox One, it feels as if its having troubles loading Elder Scrolls Online (Only ESO) or any other functions like navigating the home screen. It feels like a computer that has ran out of ram.

Its strange and wierd, please help if you can.

 

i have the same issue.With mine it works fine when i use netflix or Hulu.However when i start to play a game in about 15 minutes it shuts down"I have timed it and almost 15 min. on the dot every time".then i have to unplug it,wait a bit,plug it back in.It
works fine again and will go all day till i start playing a GAME. WTF!Befoe anyone say it,Yes i have reset the system more than once trying to get it worked out.Hope i dont have to send it in to get fixed....UFC is out in a few days.

 

Power issues can be a little tricky to fix. Usually the fix itself is always simple, but we need to find out where the actual issue stems from. Is the system itself overheating/shorting out and turning off? Is the power supply unit itself overheating/shorting
out? Is it a bad outlet you have it plugged into? You have to take all these things into consideration when looking at the problem.

First thing I would ask is where do you have it plugged in? A power strip, a surge protector, directly into the wall? The first two options there are No-No's and we would need to fix that if that's the case by trying to plug it directly into the wall.
If the latter is the case then we need to try another outlet. Either way you go I would reset the PSU before doing anything. Unplug the PSU from the outlet and from the Xbox, plug into a wall outlet (preferably one with as little plugged into it as possible),
and then plug it into the system. Now when you plug it into the system, one of three things is going to happen. Either the amber light is going to go out, which indicates a bad PSU and needs to be replaced. The light will flash several times over a 5-10
second period between white and amber, which again means a bad PSU. Or the light will turn white for 5-10 secs and then turn back to amber, which is good. Try turning the system back on at this point and see if you have anymore issues. If you do, then try
the same thing in another outlet. If it does it again, replace the console.

to be honest that is how I have everything as I have quite a few electronics plugged in is by the first 2 methods I have even got 2 way or 3 way cubed socket adaptors with 2 or 3 plugs plugged in to that I have 3 power strips 2 are plugged straight in to
the wall the 3rd is plugged in to 1 of the power strips with like I said with multiple 2 way or 3 way cubed socket adaptors in otherwords I am probably overloading everything but it has only started to do it for the past 2 days but at the moment I have my
xbox one plugged directly in to the wall socket.
