    Im getting so many hate messages on XBL, and dont have enough money to change my Gamertag i don't know but people are sending me messages on my xbox account calling me a ****** and stuff

    I always get so many hate messages on XBL etc... and I dont have enough money to change my gamertag.. ;(( please give me a free gamertag change because i dont want get ao many hate messages on a day. i get in one day more than 20 hate messages. I dont can

    Hi Quantum,

    I would definitely report and block these players, as if not you they will probably do it to someone else - reporting them will mean they get action taken against their accounts.

    You can also set your profile to only accept messages from Friends Only. To do this, go to www.xbox.com and sign in to your account.

    From here, go to "My Account", and select "Privacy and Online Settings". From here you can tweak settings, including communications to Friends Only :)

    At this time there is no free method of changing gamertag unfortunately - this is a purchased feature. The alternative would be to create a new account, but obviously if you've invested time and money in an account this isn't an ideal solution.
