I am having an issue with accessing my Destiny 1 DLC content.

Hello everyone

Since I already have season pass, I will be getting the House Of Wolves DLC and hopefully Bungie / Activision will be releasing " free " DLC as an apology for the lack of content in the core Destiny 1 game.

The only way that I will be going anywhere near Destiny 2 is if the core content of Destiny 2 is as big as...

" Destiny 1 core content + The Dark Below DLC content + House Of Wolves DLC content "

combined on the initial $60.00 of Destiny 2.

Here is the possible issue with your situation directly from Bungie (the publisher of the game)

Sharing Destiny Content with Multiple Accounts

Some platforms may allow players who own Destiny content licenses to share game content with other accounts on the system.

For information on how to access game sharing features, please see PlayStation Support or Xbox Support.

Players accessing Destiny content through the game sharing feature may not be able to access all DLC, add-ons, promotional items, or pre-order items for which the primary account owns the licenses.

Bungie does not support any issues with loss of access to items on accounts that are using the game sharing features to access Destiny content.

So in short there are certain Destiny 2 DLC that is not sharable.

I gameshare with a friend and have been since the release of Destiny 2. Ive had no issues with season pass in Year 1 or Year 2 (Forsaken). Shadowkeep as a dlc is working fine through gameshare, but I don't have access to the season pass content. It's not
clear as to why this is or what has changed from previous releases.

I will be getting Destiny: The Taken King followed by Fallout 4. Destiny 2 will be a ignore for me if Bungie / Activision follows the same exact content release of Destiny 1 which is as follows...

(1) Destiny core game = $66.00 for bare bones content.

(2) The Dark Below = $20.00 without season pass or $35.00 with season pass for overpriced low content DLC content that doesn't warrant its price.

(3) House Of Wolves = $20.00 without season pass or $35.00 with season pass for overpriced low content DLC that doesn't warrant its price.

(4) The Taken King = $40.00 for DLC content that is " supposedly " twice as big as the combined might of The Dark Below and House Of Wolves. This content should be free as an apology from Bungie / Activision for the utter lack of content in the
core game of Destiny and the severely overpriced DLCs.

As far as Destiny 2 is concerned, it better have as much content as the follwoing that is IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE with the initial $60.00 purchase for me to even consider picking it up...

(1) The "Core" game of Destiny 1

(2) The Dark Below DLC

(3) House Of Wolves DLC
