I am having a problem with the parent account that I had to set up for my xbox live account.

Hey so I want to accept a friend request however because of something when i set up my xbox live it set me as a teen so i needed to create a parent account. So when i go to accept the friend request it wants me to enter the parent account password, but when
i did it said it did not work try again. So i did over and over again. So then i decided to reset the password, I did that then tried the friend request again and it still told me it did not work. So then I signed in to the account of microsoft.com and this
happened. What do i need to do? also is there a way to remove the parent account off of my xbox live account so that i don't have to keep entering the parent account password to do stuff?

Purchased Xbox Live Gold for wrong account. How do I change the subscription to the correct account

I recently purchased an Xbox 360 for my son. I set up a child account for my son and he set up the associated Xbox gamertag. I also set up a parent account which also seemed to come with a gamertag. I am not a gamer and haven't used the xbox myself. When
I purchased the Xbox it came with a free one month subscription to Xbox live Gold, which we used and associated with my sons account.

I then recently received notice that the one month free subscription was ending, inviting me to subscribe to Xbox Live Gold, which I wanted to do.

This is where I made my mistake; because the email had come to my personal email account I assumed that I had to renew the subscription which I duly did (annual subscription) using my Microsoft parent account. Unfortunately it is not my sons account so
he has no subscription but my account does.

Having looked at the forum and support pages I think that I could solve the problem by moving my sons gamertag from his account to my account (if it is possible to move a child gamertag to a parent account and assuming that i first remove my gamertag from
my account); however I don't want to do that because my account is a parent account and his is a child account, and I also don't want my email address associated with his account.

I don't seem to be able to cancel my subscription so as to get a refund. Is my only solution to buy another subscription for my sons account?

 

Won't let me re-add a parent

So a while back my friend and I were setting up my xbox live account and he set himself as a parent so right before I bought gold for this account I asked him to remove me from his family then I activated my gold account so I could set my dad as well my
dad him and I set up an xbox live account for him with correct info and such but when I try'd to add a parent it said Xbox Live Profile Cannot be Created after we just set up the stuff and I had just purchased a year of gold
