I am currently having problems signing into my old Microsoft account, it was created for me...

Each 360 account can be associated with a Live account.

Currently I have:

old 360 account -> associated with my Live account but with the old gamertag

new 360 account -> associated with my Live account but with the new gamertag

The new account got created when I downloaded my profile using my microsoft sign in. The old account was associated with the same microsoft sign in but it didn't recognize my gamertag change. Now it won't let me sign in to live because it asks for my microsoft
sign in details. I'm guessing the sign in fails because it's trying to find the microsoft account associated with the old gamertag.

I either need to somehow transfer my saves over to the new 360 account so I can upload them to the cloud, or I need someway for my Xbox to realize that my gamertag changed on the old account so I can sign into live again with that account.

I think i have the same problem and when i try to sign in (in lunar client) with my email and password it shows me that i am logged in to the new createted account (i didn't create it) and i can't log in to my old account. Can you please help me?

I made sure not to create a new xbox live profile, since I already have a gamertag. When I clicked on "games" on my laptop, and tried to sign in, it took me to a screen that prompted me to create a new xbox live profile under my new Microsoft account. I
made sure to back out, and that is what prompted this whole process.

I am pretty sure there is not a new gamertag associated with my new account. I don't want there to be; I want to switch my current gamertag to my new Microsoft account.

If you have a Gamertag, then you have a Microsoft Account with an account username that looks like your old deleted email. So even if the email itself doesn't exist anymore, your Microsoft should still work, if you know the email and Password for the Microsoft
Account.

You can try to use that old email to sign in on
https://account.live.com/ and then try to create a new sign in Alias with your current email (as long as it's not a Microsoft Account yet).

I tried this as well, and when I clicked create new account, I was prompted to create a new account or click my current Microsoft email, which just leads me back to the Minecraft page telling me I have to purchase the game... Still have the same problem.
