I am constantly being kicked off xbox live

I recently got a new isp and gateway (cox and a netgear ac1900/c6300bd) and have not been able to keep connected to xbox live. I get disconnected randomly sometimes within a few minutes and other times after a few hours. It is usually quite quickly however.
It has been that way for 2 weeks. I am not a tech guy but have looked into many solutions and none have helped. I have put my xbox 360 into a dmz also i have tried port forwarding and upnp enabling it. None of those seem to work. I have disabled ip flood detection
and port scanning and the firewall altogether. I have cleared the cache and redownloaded the profile. I have gotten generic "solutions" from xbox support and cox support although I can't expect them to know my specific issue. If anyone has any ideas on fixing
this issue it would be greatly appreciated. This is my first forum post of any kind so please excuse me if i did not do it correctly.

    :)

Getting disconnected can have many causes, and since you didn't mention how your console is connected to your gateway, we need to check your local network (the part where you have to do work) as well as the "outside" network (the part your ISP is responsible
for, and where you will have to get him to work for you).

Also, you didn't mention, if you simply get thrown out of a multiplayer match, but are still connected to Xbox Live,or if the whole connection to Live breaks down, and you get a Toast popup (those small messages when a friend comes online or you unlock an
achievement) stating that you disconnected from Xbox Live.

If you do NOT get a Toast about being disconnected from Live, and you get thrown out of a multiplayer lobby, it might be that the player that hosted the match disconnected. There is nothing you can do about it. Just find a new multiplayer lobby or create
    your own.

If you DO get a Toast about getting disconnected, see if you can get evidence about your ISP being the culprit. Before playing online on your console, start your computer, and open up a command prompt (on Windows you'd press "Windowskey+R" and type "cmd"
in the small window and press OK. On Mac or Linux computers you'd open up a Terminal window).

In the black window that opened, type the following command:

    ping www.google.com -t

(If you use Mac or Linux, omit the "-t" option).

That should make your computer print rows upon rows of numbers. When you do play, and you get disconnected, check your PC's output. If the numbers on the screen suddenly are vastly different, or the answer is something completely else than numbers, then
your ISP is to blame for the disconnect. Collect evidence at what time and day the disconnect happened. Try playing a few more times, and every time you get disconnected and the output in the PC chages, make a note with the time and date, and then call your
Internet Providers support and tell them that they should fix your line.

If your PC says your connection is rock solid, you should check your home network for issues.

If the console is connected via LAN cable, check if the cable is defective.

If the console is connected wireless, try a wired connection for testing purposes. If that improves the situation, you might have trouble with outside interference.

Check your home or neighborhood for other wireless devices that might interfere with your WLAN. For example neighboring WLANs, wireless baby monitors, wireless cordless phones, wireless garage door openers, and even Microwave ovens.

If you are unable to remove the wireless interference, and you don't want to run ethernet cable through your home, you might want to look into so called Home Plug adapters that you plug into your wall outlet and use the electrical wires in your home as a
    network.

I know this is a "spray and pray" answer, but unless you provide more information about your network setup, I can't give a more detailed answer.

Then this sounds like your profile might be corrupted.

Try this if this is on a Xbox 360:

Plug in an USB thumb drive. Make sure, no important data is on the drive, as the Xbox will delete it!

On the dashboard go to the far right to the settings hub, and then to the system tile in the upper left.

Go to the storage options, and let the console prepare the USB drive as a storage device.

After the storage device has been created, go to the profile folder of your normal storage device, and move your profile to the USB drive.

Then turn the console off and WAIT FOR ABOUT 30 SECONDS! If you unplug the USB drive too early, chances are, the console is still writing on it, and unplugging the USB drive while the console writes on it, will destroy the data on the USB drive!!!

After you waited, unplug the USB drive.

Turn the console back on, and again go to the settings hub.

Go to the system tile again, and then to the network settings. Do a connection test to Xbox Live. Make sure, all the dots become green and the connection to Xbox Live is working.

Do NOT sign in with any Profile yet!

Now go to the storage options again, and highlight any storage device, then press Y.

Choose to clear the system cache. Repeat that three times.

Now press the silver Guide button on the middle of the controller and choose "Download Profile"

Enter your profiles Microsoft Account email and Password.

BEWARE! If you use Two Step Verification to protect your account from hackers and account thieves (you can check for that
    here), you will need to
go to the page for account security and create an App Password, and use the App Password instead of your regular password.

Let the console download your profile.

Now it should work properly again.

I am constantly getting kicked off of Xbox Live !

Hello @Devorixx, I hope everything is going well for you!

I am very sorry to know you are having such conveniences. Please do not worry about the situation because I am here to help you out!

According to the explanation you have provided, I believe your console might need either a network reset or just a system refresh. Therefore, you will only need to follow those simple troubleshooting steps that I will provide you with and your issue should be fixed.

The following troubleshooting step will help you clear out your MAC address:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

Another step that you can try to resolve the issue, would be to remove and re-add your account. In order to do that please go to: settings> account> remove accounts> remove your account.

You could also try this troubleshooting step to clear any corrupted data from your device:

1- Go to settings on your Xbox

    2- Select system

    3-Select storage

4- Clear local saved games and your console will automatically restart

Note: When doing this step please make sure that you always play online so that all your data is saved to the cloud

If the issue still persists after going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 10-15 seconds plug all your cables back in and then restart your console.

In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox :

Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

I wish you a lovely day, and I hope this helps you out! All the best!

    Kind Regards

    Stay safe, and happy gaming
