I am connected - But I am not!

Hi, I have a tricky problem that I can't find anyone else reporting this problem on the internet. I took my Xbox one to my brothers house and connected to his Wi-Fi (we do this all the time), when I returned home and reconnected to my WI-FI, everything
connected fine, but on the homescreen, the Connect to Xbox Live button was still there and my downloadable games wouldn't start, due to being offline. I powered down my console, ran the various network tests (all came back good), reset my router etc. During
all this, I noticed one of my games was updating, confirming I was actually connected, also my 2nd Xbox One is connecting without issue. The final information I have, is the friends tab is showing the information it was displaying last time I was connected
and isn't changing, e.g 1 friend online, friend A last online 3 hours ago etc and it isn't changing). I hope I have provided enough information, can anyone help please
