I Am Confused With The Console Ban

Ok so I got a message from the enforcement team saying I got suspended for 2 weeks because of me sending a message back to the person that kept sending hateful and threatening words. I was a little upset but I said oh well so I got off and did my thing in
town, when I got back I had another enforcement action added to my suspension "Threatening and Abuse" I think it's something like that. Which I think added 2 more days to my suspension. I then got a little bit more upset and just learned to not worry about
it. BUT THEN.. I got back on and got console banned. I was on the edge of upset, I was so confused and I went to chat with somebody on support, they said they can't release any information on the console ban. Now I understand the information is only shared
around with the enforcement team which is alright, but after spending over $1000 on my account and playing for 3 years it's not very cool at all. So here's the confusing part though.. My grandmother got an email saying that I have a suspension for 100 days.
Does this mean my console is only suspended for 100 days? I would like to know so if not I can buy another console. And if it does get removed which is probably highly rare then I promise myself not to ever use any sort of language or threats to someone ever

Console banned

Then it wasn't a ban,it was a suspension.

A ban is permanent whether it's a console ban or account ban.

A suspension is temporary so I am not wrong.

You are getting confused with the meanings of both words

Console bans are permanent.It even tells you this on the enforcement site here

 

Black Ops 2 Probation Warning

It usually varies how long you will be banned. If this is the first it only take less that an hour. If you keep receiving this warning the ban will be longer than the previous one, until they ban your account. I am quite confused because I play Black Ops 2 and I usually don’t receive this warning if it caused by bad connections.

I would also like to add that if you see someone doing something against the ToU and CoC of Live it's best to just report them and continue playing. A lot of people try to get a rise out of others and then report them.
