I am being harassed by a online gang...

For the last couple months my gameplay has turned very uncomfortable and serious. I feel like I'm being
threatened and thrown into lobbies that do not fit my gaming style at all. Haven't changed anything in my setting to place myself in this situation. I pay for my subscription every year and the last two years have been nothing but bad gaming
unless I am playing with a friend. It almost feels like Xbox or whoever is hacking my Xbox is trying to make me have a partner of some sorts and that is
NOT their decision in an such manner. So besides getting off and putting my Xbox up in the closest, curious if anyone had any suggestions what I could do to resolve this issue... Thank you in advance!

In this case the best option it's report abd block this users.

Never respond o send messages to avoid any ban.

Hi there

A lot of people dont consider this option but its the best advice i can suggest, if your gaming experience has turned uncomfortable.

You can make your Settings to Friends only which filters out

- messages

- party invites

-game chat

it also makes it so if you join a friend's party with other people who are not your friend, it mutes them. Joining public lobbies you will not hear anyone apart from friends.

This is an excellent setting to keep in mind.

Please mute,report and block anyone you feel is harassing you. If this is somebody you know personally outside of xbox you will need to contact your local authority as well in drastic situations but no form of harassment is tolerated anywhere.

Easier said than done but play with people you know . Dont turn your mic on if you are not with people you dont know till you feel comfortable. No where does it say you have to hear these people mute them They will be talking to themselves lol. Usually
they will send you a private message if they feel its so bad that you are ignoring them. Block them report them and keep moving forward.

What games are you playing where the lobbies make you feel uncomfortable? Perhaps its time for a break from that game as the community may have gotten a bit toxic.

you are not being forced into any game or game lobby and you can always leave the lobby to find another.
