And in the part of "Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 devices Online Safety" set all features related to multiplayer, communication and friendship to "Allow".

If it won't let you log in to set up your account, there may be two reasons.

1. The date of birth of your account is underage, check it in this link:

2. You are a member of a family group, check it in this link

If you are a minor, you must enter a family group and the family group administrator must configure your account in the same way that I indicated initially.

I have spent hours with support in online chat and on the phone, with no resolution.

I am now also unable to start chat sessions with support, likely I am blocked. When I try to enter chat the fields to enter my name are greyed out and I am unable to put my info there and the system will not let me proceed to a support agent until I do.
(tested from multiple PC's with multiple browsers)

*** poor show on MS, had much better service from that other console manufacturer.

I am having the same problem but i can only talk to my friends and not other people at all. It shows that i am muted. Any help? Is there anyway to see f your acc has any offenses?

i am not aware of who my CM is but where could I find them at? and i would always help out in chats and help people on twitter as well so i am not sure why this is happening.

I should also note that there is never anything wrong with my own or the other people I am playing with connections. I am still able to use all other normal functions I use and play on xbox live and watch Netflix etc.

the people I am trying to chat with say that their chats work with other people just not with me which is what lead me to believe my system is having a problem.
