I am absolutely disgusted

Firstly I can't complain about the Irish lads at the call centre as they are second to none.

the support I have received from xbox itself though is an absolute disgrace. my original xbox decided it didn't want to play any disc. I did an advanced exchange repair and the replacement console didn't play games. I contacted xbox support straight away
and since then (over a month) I have been fobbed off. My issue was supposed to be escalated to technical and so done was going to contact me but no one did. I phoned again and was told that someone would definitely be phone me on Friday 5th/ Saturday 6th of
September but no one did. I have phoned this morning to be told that there is no record of this on my account. I have not been able to play games now for over a month and this morning I received a £13 code due to the problems I have had. What I would like
to now though is to have a new xbox one sent out to me and a reasonable compensation for all of this or I would like a full refund of my xbox inc all of the accessories and games I have purchased.

Really sorry to tell you this but you're going to have to deal with phone support about the issue. Call them back up and explain the issue and set up a new repair of the console.

 

If they didn't keep hanging up on me I would. I have been polite and non abusive yet they hang up on me

That's the thing why should I have to go through that when the advanced exchange repair console that was sent out to me was faulty and then to be fobbed off and lied to for over a month.

 

I know you're upset. However, the options I have provided are the only ones available to you. There is nothing anyone on the forums can do to help you out. We are all just gamers like yourself.

 

Call customer service. Tell them your issues and how you would like to resolve it. Say you would like your money back.

I have used the chat feature, and got my xbox one fixed that way. No charge to me. I was like 2 1/2 hours through the chat feature but got my issues resolved that way. Try that. Good luck.
