I am unable to get to the dashboard on my Xbox. It restarts and the first screen says say ‘Xbox open that’. Then black screen. I am able to press home and it goes to screen where I can turn off the console or remote or restart the console. I have also tried to hard reset

I am hardwired to my modem. I have not called support yet.

I was able to finally access my home screen but the Xbox keeps freezing when going through my settings. I am forced to reset it, at which point it just comes back to the troubleshooting screen. And at that screen, i am unable to do anything, including resetting
or turning off the Xbox.

They wont reset it unless it's a new console that has been registered or a replacement console due to sending yours of for repair.

You can change your home console up to 5 times every 12 months which is more than enough unless you buy a lot of new consoles,are really unlucky or are doing something dodgy.
