I already miss my X1

It has been approx. 6 hours since my X1 has decided to not co-operate and leave me high and dry ( or up a "certain" creek without a paddle).... I have come to realize how useful the X1 is as a total entertainment machine (WHEN IT IS WORKING!!!)..

I just hooked up my 360 again for Netflix and to pass the time with some gaming. "Xbox Volume Up"..... nope..... fumbling between 3 remotes now... ugg....

Twitch app crashes when loading channel

I have no choice i made my x1 region usa if i dont want to miss all the e3 event.

 

Music or Tunes!!

I miss being able to rip my own music to the console. I wish they would get it added to the X1 like it was on the 360.

 

The preview program killed his console. :|

 

Unfortunately that is what happens when you rely on one piece of equipment to do everything. When it goes down, your either "up the creek" OR, you have to get all your other equipment back out and hook everything up. Just one of reasons not to have one machine
do everything, more "wear and tear", so to speak.

Even navigating the 360 dashboard.... ugg..... it's a mess.

I was on my 360 last night for a CoD playdate and boy am I spoiled with voice commands lol. I hope you get your X1 back soon!

 

I feel sorry for him even though I don't know him. However if your console is under warranty and the preview program "killed it", not sure about America but in Australia and NZ, just return it to the retailer for a replacement refund or repair (we have good
consumer protection laws here). I spent yesterday playing Minecraft with lots of friends and people. It's Monday morning for me. It's one of the risks with this Preview Program. I don't know why I got my X1 Day One when only 80% of my friends are stuck on
X360. I guess I got too excited about it. I have more fun on 360 than on 1 mainly because theres more peps on 360. I still like some things about X1 like the Kinect, Zoo Tycoon, Forza Horizon 2.

Despite the fact that I can't relate to you or others in being spoiled by the Kinect (because I haven't used it at all), I can relate to you in how it feels to have broken hardware because my Xbox 360 consoles were constantly out of commission due to defective
DVD Drives and the infamous Red Ring Of Death.

Thanks Lei Fang; I have a "new" console on the way from the Advanced exchange program MS offers. 2 days I should have my refurbed console..... I remember the RROD on my 360, I finally gave up and bought a slim... no issue after that.

I had to go through 2 defective DVD Drives and 4 Red Rings Of Death, it was absolutely ridiculous!

The Xbox 360 that I am using now is still running strong and I bought another one while my current Xbox 360 was being repaired before. The one that I bought while my current Xbox 360 was being repaired was only used for about 1 1/2 weeks before going into
storage for safe keeping

I had to go back to my 360 from the PS4 to play an old game and it was wonderful. I knew where everything was and it's still a very impressive machine that I'll definitely keep around. I couldn't imagine unplugging it and taking it out of my living room.
