    I already have gold


    My Xbox live gold account is working fine except when trying to play multiplayer online, when I try to sign in it’s tellingme I need gold to play, checked all connections are good, switched off router etc and still the same message

    I am trying to watch Netflix on my console, and I have even deleted the Netflix app and redownloaded it. It worked just fine before the new dashboard update, but as soon as that happened, this happened.

    it gives me the option to Upgrade to Gold, or Switch Profiles....I already have Gold, and every other Gold feature works but Netflix. Nothing is wrong with Netflix either, as I can watch it on both my Mac and my PC just fine.

    power cycle the console by holding down the power button on your console for 10 seconds.

    Go to your settings, then under account click on remove accounts. Remove your account. (Make sure you know your email and password before doing this) After you have removed your account press and hold down the power button your console for ten seconds. Once
    the console is off restart your console and add back your account.

    Not entirely sure where you got the idea you'd forfeit your LG?

    As smwutches has mentioned above, if you upgrade to ultimate, then your Live Gold also gets upgraded to Ultimate. Think of it like a Season ticket on a Train (where you buy a year's worth of train travel in advance). You arrive at the Station expecting to travle in the normal carriage with most others...however, upon arrival they offer to upgrade you to a first class cabin...not only that but they also offer to upgrade you for the rest of the year. And it is free of charge

    Same thing applies here: Xbox/MS are offering to Upgrade your Live Gold to Ultimate for no extra charge. You bought 2 years of Live Gold so, if you upgrade, you will end up with 2 years of Ultimate
