I accidently redeemed a points card for xbox one but I have a 360

I wanted more points as soon as possible, but I couldnt get into the city right away. My sister could so I entrusted her the task of getting me a code card for xbox moola. She came home gave me the card and without thinking chucked it into my xbox and it
said it gave me the money. So i go into the xbox store on my 360 and it still says I have only 2 dollars (it was a 15$ card) so i don't get it. I look at the card 10x more intently. It said it was for Xbox one. I don't know if it should have an effect if it
specifies other xbox names on the card. all i want is my 15$ on my 360. Is there anything i can do to change it over? Get an xbox 360 support email address? you know email an employee in the support office? thanks for your time.

Can I redeem Microsoft Points Cards to buy games for Xbox One????

Hey guys,

There's a retail store near my house that's selling 4500 MS Points cards for a good price. I have bought one of these a few months ago and redeemed it on my Xbox 360 and it was converted into R$ 112,50 (around US$ 56).

I was wondering if I can redeem another card like this on Xbox One, in order to buy games on demand.

Putting it in another way: can Microsoft Points cards be redeemed on Xbox One either?

Or, if I redeem it on my Xbox 360 or on Xbox.com, will I be able to use this money to buy content on Xbox One?

 

Rewards points tokens (Xbox beta)

I joined the 2013 Xbox Live Update Xbox 360 Public Beta and received a code to redeem. But instead of redeeming it on my console, I accidently redeemed it on xbox.com.

Now the code "has already been redeemed" of course. And the points don't show up on my profile. Does anyone know how to fix this?

there is no email for xbox support but i am pretty sure that the codes are good on both 360 and or the One. are you trying to use it through the console or the website as you can only use the console to buy stuff with MS currency.

 

The code is applied to your account, not either console, so it will work across both (and Windows Phone and Windows 8...) so that is not the issue.

Try running a network connection test from your console and see if the money appears.

Also sign into Sign in to your Microsoft account and have a look there; it lists all recent transactions, which will include deposits such as this. If it shows up there it should show up on your console
in a matter of time; if not, check some of the other profiles that are on the console in case you accidentally redeemed the code using one of those.

If neither of those scenarios is what transpired, I think your best bet would be contacting Phone Support to see what they can find out:
