I accidentialy redeemed microsoft rewards points for the wrong account

I used to redeem rewards points for the 1$ or 10 $ xbox gift cards but instead of it giving me a code it automatically redeemed points for my account that doesn't have xbox live on. Can I transfer the Microsoft money or what? Am I stuck with the 10$ only
usable in the Microsoft store?

Accidentally used wrong email when redeeming MyVIP 10,000 reward points

Hello, when I went to redeem MyVIP gems for 10,000 Microsoft reward points, I accidentally used the wrong email and didn’t use my Microsoft rewards account email. I tried to make a Microsoft’s rewards account with the email I accidentally entered to no avail.
If anyone would be of any assistance in my issue itd be greatly appreciated!

 

I cant redeem my points because my account "is not up to date"

Im trying to redeem my xbox rewards points, but the website says i need to update my account, but it's correct. What's wrong?

 

You should talk to Support to know if it's possible

When you redeem the points and purchase the gift cards it is added directly to that account they do not issue codes for it. Unfortunately there is no way to transfer that currency to a different account. You can look at the

FAQ for more information. You can also
fill out the form and see if they are able to switch it.

Thank you for trying to help me Brad! After trying to contact Microsoft i figured out on my own that i could buy a 10$ game and gift it to my other account. So i solved my problem.
