    Hello!

    I just got a gift from a friend (a special bundle for the game Sea of Thieves)

    I accidentally redeemed it with a different mail address than the one I have bought the actual game with.

    Xbox support sent me to the game support team and then the support of the game sent me here saying Microsoft should be able to transfer the gift from the wrong mail address to the right address or give a refund but I still haven't gotten a reply yet.

    I'm not sure if this will help either but well I am really desperate so all answers are appreciated.

    If you call 1800MYXBOX they MAY be able to transfer the license to your other account but, otherwise, the advice posted above is the only way you'll be able to take advantage of your unfortunate situation.

    Sadly you can' transfer items or gifts between accounts, but definitely be more careful in the future and make sure you are on the correct gamertag and email login before accepting codes or redeeming anything. Sorry to hear about this and hopefully you
    can get this bundle again.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. Unfortunately, items cant be transferred from one account to another. You can however set the account you redeemed it on as

    home console    . This will allow you to play the content on your original profile. If the email you redeemed on doesn't have account yet, you can create one on the
    account website. Important note, some add-ons or DLC are not able to be shared through the home console set up.

    Nothing seems to be helping. The way I got around it before was by changing my e-mail address on this website and accepted it here. Obviously that isn't going to work because I have to use my parental e-mail to log in after I click accept.

    Why not just auto delete parent accounts after the age of 18? Or scrap the whole parental e-mail altogether.
