I accidentally redeemed a game onto the wrong Xbox/Microsoft account

I purchased a digital download code for a video game and when I received the game code, I opened the Microsoft store on my Xbox to redeem the code. However, for whatever reason, the code just wouldn't work, so I decided to instead open up my laptop and redeem
the code via https://redeem.microsoft.com/. The code worked and my product was redeemed but, after this, I realised that I had auto-signed in to the wrong Microsoft account (the one I am currently typing on) when I intended to redeem the code onto a different
one (the one I mainly use with Xbox).

In order to try and resolve this, I attempted to contact Microsoft Support but to no avail; the automated voice on the UK phone number tells me to request a phone call from the Microsoft website but the "Contact Us" section says, "Phone
calls and chats aren't available for this issue." <- it says that for every issue apparently.

Any help I can get will be greatly appreciated.

I have downloaded the profile onto my Xbox but the only possibility is that I could have accidentally redeemed the code onto a different account.

Is there any chance you accidentally redeemed the code on the wrong account? This would be the only reason why the code would redeem but you cannot find it on your account afterwards.

I've already tried setting my xbox as the home xbox, the game won't work unless I log onto the other account which isn't mine (the account the game was accidentally downloaded onto)

Unfortunately once its been redeemed there isnt anything that could be done.

Unfortunately not. Once its been redeemed then its already too late to do anything.
