I Accidentally Changed My DOB And Now I Can't Change My Gamerpicture

I was checking my settings the other day and realised my DOB was set up as my older brothers, so I tried to change it to my DOB (26/6/1995), but while i was scrolling i clicked 2006 instead of 1995. I am incredibly sorry for my clumsiness, but i was wondering
if there was any way to change the account back into an adult account so i can change my gamerpicture

Hi Charlie Coyne,

The feature for changing gamer pics has been disabled. I have quoted the notification about this below which was taken from the Xbox Support homepage.

“Adjustments to custom picture uploads

As people look to gaming for social connection, we’re seeing record numbers across Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Live, and Mixer. To streamline moderation and ensure the best experience for our community, we’re making small adjustments. We've temporarily
turned off the ability to upload custom gamerpics, club pics, and club backgrounds.”

It wouldn't have mattered if you changed your birth on your Microsoft account, as it does not affect your Xbox Live account, as once it has been set it cannot be changed.

I was just wondering should it still say the error message for not having an adult account as i have corrected my mistake of setting 2006 instead of 1995

I had accidentally put in the wrong year (on my DOB) when making the new account, but I have since then changed it. My new account seems to be an adult account, but clearing the cache didn't help.

Skepticality

They have disabled the option to change gamerpics to custom pics because of the sudden influx of users on the service due to the virus
