Hype Games

I think Destiny will be worth $60 for the co-op play, but not worth getting the extra content that won't be out until December. By that time I will have Halo, Sunset overdrive, Far Cry, Dragon Age, and a few others to keep me entertained.

I believe Destiny isn't worth $60+tax. I played plenty of Co-op games last generation too.

I'll get destiny if i'm bored and run out of games. I'm not excited for it at all like I was a few months ago, but I'm sure I'd have a decent amount of fun with it. I couldn't care less for co-op as I'm mostly a solo gamer. I do like co-op games, but don't
like when a game is so heavily focused on co-op.

Also, hype does nothing for me. I watch gameplay or play a demo to see if I think the game is worth buying.

I avoid the hype so I let the game play speak for itself.

Burst axe - What games have come out in the past year that were worth $60 to you?

What is hype? Baby, don't hurt me, don't hurt.. no more.

Srs doe. Hype is hype. We have the choice to embrace it or ignore it. Just wait and see if you're unsure about a game. Not every game needs to be "DAYYRYRRR EHRNE OMGGGGGG"

Yes and no. Some games like GTA V are wroth the hype and the excitement (when it was first coming out for PS3 and XBOX 360) and far surpassed the hype.

But when I look at games like "Watch_Dogs" I found it to be very, very, very over-hyped. At first when I started playing it I was like... this game is so cool, but after playing through for a second time, I realized how over-hyped the game actually was.
