Hype Games

Anyone else getting tried of over hyping games. In which ruin the game sometimes. we keep hear thing like that games going to kill these game or that. Or bring something new to the table In which they don't. doesn't mean there bad games. Just that they
are ruin cause of the over Hype.

Will this game live up to the hype?

Hype?! Hmmm, I don't think there's hella hype for this game. I'm sure next year the hype will be all over H4.

The post name was misleading. I think there is way to much hype on this game. But I can vary heavily understand they hype on of few game company's who's games live up to the hype.

 

It´s called passion for your work.

Others may call it "over hype".

 

I'm not talking about Dev and pubs that there job. Im talking about YouTube and stuff like that.

 

I don´t watch YouTube much so I don´t know.

Well those do it to get you to watch it.

If they make money with viewers then…it´s also there job

 

Super hyped games aren't ruined by the hype for me. It ruins it for the 'hardcore' video game snobs who think every game should be mind blowing. I can tell if I'm going to enjoy a game after seeing 5 minutes of gameplay on youtube. If I enjoy a game it
is $60 well spent. If it turns out to be an all time greatest type of game then I feel lucky.

They need to hype games to push sales. If they don't sell then they don't make money. If they don't make money then they don't have money to make more games.

BTW, one week until Destiny!! Get pumped!!

 

I think Destiny is going to be great but that a wait and buy game.

 

If that's a wait and buy game then I don't know what a day one game is.

The hype is real.

 

The Hype was real with BF4 and Watch dogs and TF too and look how they turn out. I just waiting to buy cause is a always online game and if sever are down im not buying it on day 1.

 

What is hype for one, is not necessarily for another. After playing the Destiny Beta, it's over-hyped to me. For those that have been mainly console gamers and have never delved into an MMOish type of game, I can see where their hype is coming from.

 

I kept reading about people being disappointed by Watch Dogs due to the hype it had received. I was rather confused... I guess I never expected that game to blow me away by its awesomeness. I enjoyed it for what it was.

I pre-ordered Destiny, but the hype this game is receiving is insane. There is no way in hell that a co-op FPS game should be getting this much love. There is nothing new about the game, nothing original. I pre-ordered it, because I think it will be fun
to play with some friends.

 

Hype is advertisement and a mix between "fanboyism" and game journalists who needs to follow the hype to be read and receives their free games for reviews.

After that it's a question taste....

I like Titanfall,one of my favorite Xbox one/FPS game.Do i care about hype or not ? Nope.

Watchdog is a good,not a masterpiece but good.Do i care about hype or not ? Nope.

Destiny seems to be good but i'm not interested by it.Do i care about hype or not ? Nope.

It won't change my mind and enjoyement i got with what i play.Or what i want to play.....

 

Hype sells games. If everyone and their mama is talking about the game chances are more people are going to buy it. I am not falling for the Destiny hype however, like Eggnogga said its just a co-op FPS, maybe I am judging the beta too harsh, but I just
dont see it being that great.

 

Does anyone believe that destiny won't be worth $60?

Maybe people interpret the hype differently than me.

We went an entire generation and saw very few coop games. The only coop that I really enjoyed was borderlands and the zombie games. So to see that they put hundreds of millions into a fps game that is focused around coop.....that is exciting.
