You would either need to pay for Live or he would need to set your console as his Home console in order to share the gold on that console. If he is sharing gold with anyone else on that 1st console, they will lose the gold sharing if he does set yours as
his Home.

Yeah I think it sounds good, that A- I don't have to buy the same game and B- I don't need to pay for another live account. Let me resummerize what you said see if i got it.

I buy another xbox one, My main account is home account. My son has a profile under my main account or Home account, he can use his gamertag to log into the secondary Xbox one? So all I need is another xbox?

I downloaded it with another profile and I can play it with every other account on my xbox EXCEPT my main US account.

We took the turtle beaches out of the equation the other day to see if it made a difference. Again, my husband had just been playing on his account and had turned the xbox off (We have a family account, his is the main, mine is custom, and our sons is a
child account). My husband and son never have issues getting on live but I do. I went to sign on, and immediately it wouldn't connect. This was with the turtle beaches unplugged and put away. Tried about 10x to connect, no luck. Went and signed in under
my husband's account and it signed right on, so then I just had to switch to my profile.

Seriously, what gives with this crap? It's getting frustrating.

Firstly I can confirm that it is a Microsoft Account. The issue is that the account was created using my ex-husband's Microsoft account, which I can not access.

I can not legally login into his account and so I want to move all of my son's game profiles off my ex-husband's account to merge onto a new profile. The only way to do this is to be able to access the existing account, which I don't have access to.

Since my son plays the Xbox and not my ex-husband, my ex-husband left the Xbox with his son when we separated.

How can I verify that the game accounts on the Xbox belong to my son when they are registered on my husband's Microsoft account. I can't provide order history as I can't access the account to provide it.
