Hulu Playback Failure Before Every Video

I looked through the forms for a while but wasn't able to find a search in the forms to look for this specific issue.

I have the error message of a playback failure each time I try to watch a tv show in the Hulu app. One work around (that only works sometimes) is to quit the app and open it again and try to play the video. It takes about 3 or 4 times of quitting and starting
the app before the video will finally play. However, as soon as the video is done and I go to watch another one, the error pops up again and and I have to go through the "work around" process again...

Does anyone know of a fix to this? Perhaps reinstalling the app (I haven't tried this yet and I'm curious if anyone knows of other ways)?

Hulu App Issue

Hi All,

When pausing video in the Hulu app the system automatically populates the screen with title info and the Hulu Plus Logo. When playback is resumed both logos stay on screen and don't fade away. The only way to remove the logo's is to stop playback and resume
the show.

 

Playback Failure (5005) happens on a daily basis now.

I have this issue with the playback error 5005 on Hulu + when Im playing a tv show it happens just every show that last 5-10 mins of it.

 

I have the same issue, I can't play a single video with Hulu on my Xbox One. It works fine on my Xbox 360 upstairs, on my phone, and on my desktop. Some of my friends that aren't in the Preview Program say their Hulu works fine on their Xbox One. This is
a problem with the Preview Program Xbox Ones, not a problem with Hulu. I've tried reinstalling the app, rebooting my modem and router, and hard resetting the console, nothing works.

 

We're having the same problem. Hulu works everywhere except the Xbox one. Either of you get this fixed yet? I'm ready to throw the Xbox one out.

 

We're having the same issue too. Except even after countless times of quitting the app we can't watch any video at all. Every time we try to watch something, it plays for maybe 5 seconds max before it gives us the playback error. It definitely seems like
an xbox one thing because we can hardly get our Netflix app to work (most of the time it doesn't).
