Hulu app no longer restricts content to age limit set on Xbox

Hulu doesn't have parental controls per its website, and states the controls on the console should control the app. It has until recently. Now under my family account, Hulu will not run without entering my passcode. When I do it gives my family account full
access to every rating, even though they are set to age 12, and it has always worked JUST FINE before, blocking out PG13, R, and unrated content on Hulu.

Did Hulu change something, or did Microsoft?

Oddly enough, we're having the same issue on our iPad. It used to filter content, now it allows everything, even though there are parental limits set.

You can set content restrictions on the account being used, which will restrict the ads that can be seen to age-appropriate ones.

 

Age Restrictions

At the age of 13 it is perfectly allowed for your child to make their own account. However, under the age of 18 they would need parental consent to access Xbox Live. It is only age-restricted content you wouldn’t want them to access. If they set their birthdate
to the correct age then they would need parental consent. You can set up an age limit on the console, it is called Access to content. I recommend just keeping an eye on what your child plays on and by setting up the Access to content age limit, they wouldn’t
be allowed to purchase anything.

If you're experiencing the same issue on multiple devices it sounds like there may have been something that changed on Hului's end. Does content restriction work for other content on your Xbox One by chance?
