    Hulu App does not pause on commercials.


    This is a step backwards. With the advent of the DVR we have been able to record shows and just skip over commercials. With hulu and other viewing apps advertising has been given a new way to be force shown to viewers who have switched to these formats
    for their viewing pleasure. I personally have not watched broadcast (cable/satellite) in over three years. So I have become accustomed to commercials during my shows. However, there is absolutely no reason why I can't pause my stream while commercials are
    on. Commercials often signify to the viewer it's time for a break. The commercials will still be there when I get back. This is the most disappointing thing about hulu on XB1 that really isn't a bug. It's just stupid. Hulu fix this after you fix everything

    Hulu Plus App won't open

    Hulu Plus will not work on my xbox one. It will open to the home screen where it has TV Movies SWITCH TO COMMERCIAL FREE. But not pictures in those squares, a few seconds later it completely closes. I am able to open every other app like netflix, hbogo
    but not hulu plus. I have gone through a complete troubleshooting with xbox support and nothing has worked. Is there anyone else out there experiencing this issue or does anyone have a solution?

    It does this on Hulu Plus app on mine,as well. Every time I pause the title will stay on the screen after I try to resume playback. If I rewind it after hitting play, even for a second, it'll go away. Kind of annoying, I wish this issue had been fixed by
    now.

    App Updating Problems

    None of these solutions are for my actual problem, it's not a connection issue of any kind, it's not just a slow progress bar, I'm not even getting the progress bar.

    The 3 apps I'm having these issues with are Hulu, Store app, and Movies and TV app

    Adding these to the queue does just that, and that's about it, it's not on pause, it doesn't actually ever start the updating process.....

    Uninstalling leads to the same result.

    Netflix has no commercials (far as I'm aware). Hulu has too many commercials. Maybe XBOX video would strike a better balance.

    I just watched the video showing how the commercial works and almost forgot these are not going to be new ads If they incorprate the tv streaming even with hulu they are alreafdy commercial so why those commercials are rolling you have the option to interact

    Xbox one kinect "show guide" doesn't show guide, it opens the friends menu on left.

    This happens to me (showing the firends menu) when I say "xbox pause" while watching Netflix or Hulu. It seems I have to first say "Xbox select" and then "pause" to pause now.
