HUGE Probmlem On The Xbox on Windows 10 Party Chat

---THIS IS FOR XBOX APP CRASHING WHEN TRYING TO JOIN PARTY CHAT---

After 10+Hrs... I found the issue!

1.) Right Click on your Desktop

2.) Display Settings

3.) At 'Change the size of text,apps, and other items:' slider change it to 100%

Note: If it's already set to 100% or doesn't work at 100%, try all other options it gives you on the slider.

My this works: This was a DPI issue. Some applications have issues with the scaling and how it is displaying the content. I guess it didn't like the 125% scale that my monitor was displaying (1440p resolution / AMD R9 290 Graphics Card).

I have been having this problem and Party Chat has never worked for me.

For a start, the xbox app does not have a network tab which would nice to start trouble shooting from! I would like to be able to start from there. I like the app but not party chat is a bit of a deal breaker!

 

Hi Bl4nkX, We have observed other reports regarding this and the developers are aware and investigating. If the issue is still occurring, please try reproducing the issue using the Xbox App (Beta). If it reproduces under the happy face on the left NAV bar
click "Report a problem". this will send a report with helpful data to the developers to investigate. You can also report feature requests using the same function.
