on Halo 5 resume campaign takes me back to dashboard on X1

Same happened to me. After the update, the campaign crashes just after the countdown. . I am a huge fan o Halo, but it is so frustrating not being able to play the game even in Single Player, because here in Brazil it has been almost impossible to get a
match at Warzone, even with the new update. I am really disappointed...

Please 343 Studios and Microsoft, you are our only hope!

    Update Failed...?

I've been getting this error code as well. Not a huge fan. Tried the system update, tried clearing cache and Resetting my password. I have redownloaded my player profile and deleted any corrupt files. I have even turned my console on and off again.

Every time I try to download an update, it gives me this error and totally locks up my console.

    It's beyond frustrating.

    HUGE FRUSTRATING UPDATE TO PLAY

Sorry to hear you're upset. Updates can be annoying at best, especially if not accepting them limits your gameplay. However, updates do make significant improvements to the game from fixing bugs to adding new content.

If the updates are interfering with when you want to play may I suggest setting your console to Instant On and then turn on the option to install updates in the background. This will tell the system to update when the console is not in use (ie. while you're
    sleeping).

  5. Hey there, aattie.

I can definitely relate on that sentiment, for sure. I've dealt with those large downloads and game patches when my internet has not been at it's peak before, and it's not fun. Some game patches and updates do require a full download of the game again, and
it's all up to the developer and the publisher on how those are rolled out to all platforms. Some only need a small update to patch the game, while others require a large download, which may include the full game. It's not ideal, but just wanted to add some
    clarity there.

One thing I would recommend is to have updates allowed to run in the background on your Xbox One console via the Instant-On function in power settings, as well as using a wired connection to the console if available. Could help with running into issues when
you really want to play a game right away. If you run into any issues with downloading, I would recommend checking this page out: Troubleshoot Game or App Installation Problems | Xbox One in the future.

    Cheers

    Hi!

Unfortunately with Xbox One, huge updates are a regular occurrence and part of assisting in making the games run more smoothly and encounter less bugs/crashes.

I would recommend upgrading your Internet speed in order to have a better experience with Xbox One.

Well, i know how you're felling right now, but the thing is there is no way to play those games without update them first, i can only recomend you to have patience with those large downloads, the good thing is that soon there will be no update for those
games because they will be fully optimized.

Message sending over xbox.com is horrible!

I can understand your frustration, but for the average user like me that only messages one person at a time, the update is so much better then the old, huge improvement imo.
