    Huge downloads?!?!


    A Blu Ray Disk can only Hold 50GB worth of data. When games release there is sometime a 50GB+ patch = the game is is 100GB

    When games got older the Base Game data is to old to download from the Disk and it has to be download it from the internet.

    Black Ops 4 is an old game and has had 1 Years worth of Content Patches that is also why it is a large download

    As for Storage, the Xbox One Consoles support External Hard Drives as long as the Requirements are met

    1. USB 3.0
    2. Over 256GB

    I am using a 4TB Western Digital drive on my console and have around 90 Games install Huge downloads?!?! :)

    Yea very normal for today's gaming... You can find some external hard drives for good price. Connect a couple externals to your console and it will give you a tremendous amount of storage space. I have 2 8Tb Seagates connected to mine. With A lot of games
    on them... Way more than 10!

    Hey Conehed,

    It is quite normal.

    You will have to be mind-full of the games you enjoy the most and play often.

    The best thing to do is grab an external Hard Drive.

    You'll be able to hold way more games with an additional 1TB to 2TB.

    I wouldn't say every game is that big, a few are bigger sure, but most aren't quite that big

    An external hard drive will see you through if you find you need more space and don't want to uninstall anything, but for now until that happens I wouldn't worry too much about it 🙂

    Games these days runs hundreds of gigs. After initial download, title updates, map packs and DLC games can easily come in at over 100gb.

    Yes most games anymore are huge downloads which is why i invested in a 4 tb external drive the elder scrolls online is around 160 gb or so with all the add ons
