Huge bandwidth usage since downloading DCUO

Downloaded DCUO and some of the games with gold at the start of the month. Got a notice from Comcast that was I was about to hit my 300GB usage cap for the month. Had tried to get into the DCUO servers, but never got in. Checked my usage on the console
and I was at roughly 165GB for the new month. Shut down DCUO and then the console. Instant On is currently on for this machine. Got a notice the next day that I was over my usage cap, by quite a bit. Checked the Xbox One and it now shows 297GB used. Have
not done anything on the machine between checking usage. Figure I may have used 100GB at the start of the month. But no streaming videos or anything like that. Has anyone else had an issue? Chat support told me updates happen and that I should turn off
Instant On. Not really answer for this scenario. Have unplugged Ethernet cable and trying to decide how to proceed, or not. Would appreciate any advice.

could you go to setting network bandwidth usage and tell me what your bandwidth usage has been like in the past 12 hours or since you starting downloading it

I did some more testing and the bandwith usage goes up as soon as i sign in my xbox live account, if i stayed sign out, but the xbox on and pluged to my router there is no traffic, which is obviously normal.

Next hour, i'll sign in my account and play Halo:Reach in the solo campaign and i'll check what will be my bandwith usage after.

Exact same thing happened to me never had a problem with bandwidth usage ever, and I downloaded DCUO and boom used 150 gb in one day, now I have to pay 200$ overage fee for going 100gb over. Xbox support did nothing, not even a free 1 month gold incentive.

Does it still use 1GB per hour when in a non-multiplayer game like Skyrim?

My console is connected to a gigabit switch and the light on the switch blinks fast whenever one of the video ads are displayed suggesting that they are being constantly streamed.

Still don't know if they could use 1GB an hour as I have no way of testing how much it is using because my ISP usage counter only updates every 24 hours.

But have you tried going to the dashboards privacy settings and switching content filtering to Family?

Family doesn't seem to have as many video ads as standard mode so maybe that will use less bandwidth.

TY, BeRReGoN - some folks are on cellular 3G modems and have an even worse problem with download caps. Makes sense.

My internet feed is 12meg/s, my ISP is cablevision, the only one internet company in my area and there is a bandwith limit usage per month so i had to find out what was the problem. I'm not sure i had look in the Active Download, could be it, maybe a big
download that would keep restartting or something, don't see what it could be since i didn't download any game of movie yet, maybe a couple of previews.
