HTTP ERROR 502 on account.xbox.com

I checked the Xbox status page and all services are up and running. On a different Xbox account link is working. On my main account date of birth is set to 1999 so my account shouldn't be child. And if my account is somehow child how can I fix it? I cleared all cache and cookies and tried using a different browser but it just doesn't work. (sorry for the mistakes, I'm using a translator)

The vague 'temporary problem' did eventually resolve itself, and I found a way to access my profile while I was on hold.

8-Step Workaround:

1. Sign out of xbox.com/Microsoft account in all browser windows. You may have to do this multiple times.
   
2. Clear cookies/data in Firefox, Chrome or any other browser window.
   
3. Close all browser windows.
   
4. Make Firefox the default web browser in Windows 10 settings.
   
5. Open Xbox App from Microsoft Store/Start Menu (Windows 10).
   
6. Click on gamertag in Xbox App.
   
7. Click on settings.
   
8. When you select the option to change gamertag and/or privacy settings Firefox will start as it has been set to the default web browser. Firefox should now load Xbox.com website correctly, allowing you to see something other than a 502 Error or a blank page.
   

This is quite a hassle. Xbox Live is a paid service and it is more difficult to use than free alternatives (Steam, Epic Games). It is also worth noting that GPUs are no longer a price bottleneck when it comes to PCs in the current day.

In light of this very bizarre behavior from the xbox live website, and the deprecated niche that consoles seem to no longer fulfill hardware-wise, I question why xbox live persists as a service.

However, when I went into my Microsoft settings and turned off two-step verification, not only did it not resolve the issue I had with my xbox live profile, I can now, no longer access my security dashboard.

I receive a new and additional error: "There is a temporary problem, please try again later." whenever I try to access my security dashboard.

I will call support and post if any solutions are forthcoming, to any of these issues with Microsoft's services.

Cuando me di de alta como desarrollador de Xbox, para que el proceso tan mal diseñado por los becarios de Microsoft funcione, tuve que desactivar la seguridad de 2 pasos de mi cuenta.

Me parece que eso era el problema, así que me metí al settings de mi cuenta de Microsoft, volví a activar la seguridad de 2 pasos, y automáticamente todo el sitio de Xbox funcionó de nuevo.

I have a solution that worked for me.

When I signed up as an Xbox developer, for the process so poorly designed by Microsoft interns to work, I had to deactivate the 2-step security of my account.

I think that was the problem, so I went into my Microsoft account settings, turned 2-step security back on, and the entire Xbox site automatically worked again.

2. Have tried to reach the profile page using 3 different Xbox Live accounts. Date of birth on all of the accounts is 1986, so should not be a child acount for any.



3. Have tried clearing cache in and using 3 different browsers for sign in, Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Firefox. Issue persists across all three browsers, with all three xbox live accounts.



Attempted to use XBox App to view Privacy Settings. This automatically opens default browser, gives error: "This page isn't working. account.xbox.com is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP Error 502"



Issue occurrs on three different PCs on my home network.



Has there been no progress in the identification of the root cause of this issue by anyone?
