how would you go about modding a game bought from the windows store?

I saw a paper about how the new update to the windows store would make modding easier but yet the mods still won't work could you tell me why?

Unfortunately modding is not a thing right now for the Microsoft store games
There are some games with an in-game marketplace, there you can find some mods.

But if you’re referring to modify the game files itself, that’s not possible yet
They’re encrypted and protected by the system

You do not need to spend a lot of time Modding Halo MCC from Windows Store, all available in https://androidpig.com, the current top mod game store

Only digital purchases from the Xbox store are eligible for VIP. So Windows software would not qualify and if you bought Need for Speed through the Windows Store it would not be eligible.

if you bought the game and are signed in with the account that bought the game then open windows store and go to download history.

Is this on Windows 10?

If you bought the game in the Windows Store, search for the game and it should let you download the game from there. Alternatively, click on your profile picture in the Store and select 'My Library' and you might see it in that list, from which you should
be able to download it.
