How will I know when a game has been added to the BC catalogue?

I know that with the recent update that 360 games will now become available on Xbox One BC as they become available, rather then the monthly updates.

But how will I know that a game has been added to the catalogue?

Dark Souls is not Backwards Compatible yet. Once the game has been added to the BC list, it is my guess that you will receive your code then.

Backward compatibility

I wish they added BC but I know for a fact Microsoft will make Xbox Ones with BC a year after the console is released.

As of this moment, Microsoft does not have a public schedule for dates of release. I do recommend, however, checking out Major Nelson's blog as he posts backwards compatibility news quite frequently. You can find him here:

And as always, you can always visit the backwards compatibility list to check if your game(s) have been added. That site is
